Currently the only weather station in its class to use frequency hopping spread spectrum radio technology to transmit weather data wirelessly up to 1000′ (300 m). This really incredible and puts this product head and shoulders above the rest.

This product comes with a Vantage Pro2 console with receiver, a built in sensor suite, and mounting hardware. The built in sensors include rain collector, temperature and humidity sensors, anemometer, 40′ (12 m) anemometer cable, and solar panel. All electronic and electrical components are housed in a weather proof housing, to stop any water or moisture entering the main unit.

The sensor console is fully solar powered so need for batteries. The console can be powered from the mains using the included AC-power adapter.

The Vantage Pro2 Wireless range is 1000′ (300 m) outdoors. The range through walls is 200′ to 400′ (60 to 120 m). Wireless repeaters can be added for ranges up to 1.7 miles (2.7 km).
