I have had this station now for about 4 months and so far its been pretty accurite and dependable. Its near the top end for LaCrosse stations and has stood up to some pretty windy , and rainy weather in my area. You get what you pay for, and this is no aception. It retails for about $ 120.00 but you can find it in Walmart, and on EBAY and Amazon for about $ 90.00. All funtions except the cheaply made rain gauge work well. Wind speed and direction are spot on. Temp and Barometric pressure readings hold on or close to local weather sources. Cons… if the station needs to be re booted… you have to remove ALL the batteries from all three units ( Thydro sensor, rain gauge, and inside consol ) to set it all back up again. Another disapointment, in my case anyways is the inaccurite rain gauge. Sometimes, its on track with other unites I have , but many times its not. No where near the quailty of a DAVIS Station, but not a cheap , usless toy either. Like I said, you get , pretty much, what you pay for. I would recommend it for the GENERAL hobbiest.
