La Crosse WS-8035U-IT-SAL Weather Station Review:
La Crosse WS-8035U-IT-SAL weather station review. Clear complete and very accurate weather information. With a great stylish design this weather station will suit any room, that being the home or work place.
The radio controlled weather station will precisly monitor air pressure and display the information on a clear and large LCD screen, and a bar graph will show the complete pressure history for the past 24hrs.
As the weather station monitors the air pressure the weather station will display the forecast, so you are always prepared for good or bad weather. Using a built in temperature the product will display the indoor temperature and relative humidity.
Outdoor temperatures with up to three sensors can be monitored wireless. You can measure the outside temperature from practically anywhere with a transmission range of 330 feet and completely wireless. You can check minimum and maximum daily temperatures simply with the push of a button. This weather station from La Crosse also displays the eight phases of the moon.
An atomic clock will ensure the displayed time is always correct, whatever your timezone maybe. A built in alarm and snooze button is also included.

Joe Amadeo: This WAS a really great temp & humidity “big screen” station that was dependable and somewhat accurate, in our opinion based on use and observation at WeatherBuffs.com.
Temps appeared to be +-1-2F and the barometer tracked wonderfully well at +-.00-.03 hga. Easy to set up, only one sensor to install outside, nice sized graph and the largest LCD since the 7395s. The 8035 and the 8035U-IT were excellent temp & forecast stations at about $90-$110 street.
Forget the humidity, however. We experienced it to be way off, like +-5-8pts, which is typical of Chinese manufactured stations. No rain or wind option. No Heat Index. But a good quality station with very few tech issues or support.
So, La Crosse discontinued it. Go figure.

My previous review was written about the WS-8035 (433mhz unit), before we knew the WS-8035U-IT (915mhz unit) would be released. It is, by far, in our anecdotal opinion, the best temp and forecast station on the market.
Benefits: Big LCD, All Basic Data On Screen, Excellent Barometer, Best Forecast (true of all La Crosse stations), Pretty darn accurate temps (1F variance from Davis at MOST!) from our observations. Also has barometric pressure graph and atomic clock.
Detractions: No back light. No AC adaptor (runs on batteries only). Humidity not close to Davis in our observations.
Great gift idea. This is the best value for accuracy & reliability on the market, in our opinion. Virtually no returns, no support calls, no warranty replacements necessary to my best recollection. Available at http://www.WeatherBuffs.com
I bought this for my Mom for Christmas. We have a similar one that we bought 4 or 5 years ago. I wish they would have made this one when we got ours because I love the feature of the atomic clock. It was very easy to setup and the clock set itself within minutes. Out of all the temperature stations I would recommend buying this one! Just remember to put the batteries in the sensor and then in the station and do it within a few minutes.
